Top 10 Most Crowded Attractions for National Week in China Explore in China - Attractions

As China begins its 66th National Day celebrations today, it's set to break a new travel record.

Chinese media reports that an estimated 13 million people will be embarking on train travels around the country on October 1, the highest ever recorded, as residents embark on their seven-day break.

According to big data predictions by some online travel agencies, cities like Lijiang, Sanya, Beijing and Xiamen are among the most popular domestic destinations.

However, the crowds at scenic spots, which are a common sight at Chinese tourist destinations during holiday time, can spoil your experience when sightseeing. Here is a list of the most crowded scenic areas in China. While it is not our intention to advise you against visiting these places, do avoid the crowds there if at all possible.
