Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE) was founded in 1952. DUFE is one of China's top-ranked finance, banking and economics universities, consistently in the top three nationally for producing the most employable graduates. With over 20,000 students, the campus is in Hei Shi Jiao - close to the seaside and surrounded by lush, green mountains.

MODERN FACILITIES
University Library services
DUFE has two libraries, with a library on both the North and South campus, providing a comprehensive range of learning materials in both English and Chinese. As part of your orientation programme, you will be shown how to use the libraries and locate key resources.
Computer facilities
You will have access to free IT training and IT technical support and more than 160 computers, open 13 hours every weekday, and on Sundays in the cybercafé.
Sports facilities
At DUFE you will be able to take advantage of the outdoor stadium and newly renovated facilities. Students can access a gym close to the campus, with monthly membership fees around RMB 180. On-campus facilities include:
Food on campus
There are a number of different dining halls located all around the campus, serving many different types of Chinese food. There are also plenty of restaurants near the campus, including halal and vegetarian cuisine. Please note that the main diet will be Chinese food and students should be prepared to live and learn in a Chinese culture and be ready to experience different foods and a different way of life.
There are western fast food restaurants near the campus, such as KFC, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut. Meals here cost around 40RMB. Other Western and foreign restaurants are located around Dalian. For directions to these restaurants or suggestions on other places to eat locally, you can ask a member of the INTO China Student Services team who will always have recommendations to share.
